Graphics/Visual Quality

Is there a way to lower the graphics quality? I've only learned today that the old Pokemon Trading Card Game Online no longer works, so I installed PTCGLive instead, only to find that it is so unbelievably laggy that it's literally unplayable.

It takes FOREVER to actually load menus and screens, animations take ages to actually, well, animate, and when trying to play in my very first match, before I could even take my first turn due to the insane amount of lag, the match ended because I "took too long" to do anything and I lost by default. It then proceeded to hang indefinitely until I had to just ctrl-alt-del out of the program entirely.

I'd like to assume that the graphics quality is just too high and my PC can't handle it, so i'd love to know if there's a way to lower it (preferably significantly) so I can actually play the game. It hurts having to lose absolutely everything I had in the PTCGOnline, but I'm willing to start over here if it would actually let me PLAY the game.

Same thing just happened to me

I don't think it's your graphics settings because I'm using a brand new Mac and it is also laggy and buggy. I even tired changing the resolution in the settings menu on the homepage and no difference

This last match, the previous card was still attempting to resolve as I made my attack which cause the whole game to just sit there in limbo until the clock ran out

It's beginning to make the game unplayable
