aaaaannnndddd then I'd agree with you, @Hades0918 how it would be an interesting twist to Pokemon games. However..... would it still be E for everybody? Usually those kinds of things can get, shall we say.... dark.
Hmmmmm, didn't something like this occur in a not-so-dark way in the third anime movie? The little girl who thought Entei was her dad, but she was really the villain unknowingly though.

I like to look at Cyrus, Ghettis, Lusamine, and Volo for if it would get too mature
Pokémon knows how to write a good villain that has dark motives and actions without going too far
I don't know what's wrong with Maleficent, so I can't comment on that (like, I don't know get back story so don't understand the comment)
I think Pokémon could pull it off in an E10+ game that has the potential to be a meaningful and mind blowing game if they do it right
It will really make some people view villains differently
