I look at them and ask, "Could you build an obstacle course? That may help."

"When did you come in?" I ask, jumping a little and then groaning in pain from my leg.

”To the house?”

(So nobody can actually see or hear this but I want to get my character doing more than just being around)
I'm high in the sky on Char's back, staring out at the endless horizon. "One week," I mutter to my partner with a sad expression. "That's not enough time to-"
Char growls softly, cutting me off. It gives me a confident nod and I smile softly. "You're right. We've got this! It'll hurt to do, but... We have to."
The two of silently glide through the sky a bit longer. I randomly groan dramatically and collapse forward onto Char's neck. "I MISS MY KEY STONE!!!"
The Charizard rolls his eyes and shakes his head. Despite trying to be annoyed he can't help but laugh. I chuckle with a small smile as I sit back up straight. I take a deep breath and look at the gorgeous ocean again, the sunset creating a dazzling sight of rainbow water.
"You know... I was really hoping I'd get a box," I say with a forced grin, my eyes shimmering with hurt. "I knew I wouldn't because, you know, I'm me, but I was still hopeful..."
Char nods in understanding and I pat him on the back. "Anyways, we need to talk to him... Come on."
