What's going on with Gettin' Twiggy With It!?
On August 2, the Pokémon TV YouTube channel uploaded Season 10, Episode 5 of the Diamond/Pearl anime: Gettin' Twiggy With It!
They've since removed the upload and reuploaded Gettin' Twiggy With It! today.
(Mysteriously missing the English captions.)
Does anyone know…why?

I checked a certain Pokémon wiki (I’m not allowed to specify which one apparently) for the episode, there doesn’t seem to be anything controversial about it or the dub. Your guess is as good as mine, there must have been something that TPC noticed about the captions that none of us have.

I'm a big Turtwig fan, so this episode is very important to me, so I'm noticing this thing. (But I also don't think the Pokémon TV channel has deleted and then reuploaded an episode days after its upload before in its history of existence.)
I mean, you can delete or edit the captions on a YouTube video without deleting the whole video.
(But I have a hunch that the loss of captions is more of an accident than intentional; I watched the original episode with the English captions and they were fine and non-controversial. I took screenshots too.)
(Such as me saving this to tease how TPCi changed from "starter Pokémon" to "first partner Pokémon" vocabulary.)

🤷🙅 in a nutshell. They finally hit Gen 4 so only like the rest of the year to get the full generation if it's one episode/day. I might rewatch the Wallace Cup for obvious reasons since it's the last time KAORI did her role with May. Yet they don't have the Japanese dub 😭 for probably copyright or contractual reasons.

They upload 5 episodes a week (all days besides Tuesday and Thursday).

If there's one upside to the old episodes is that you get Rachael Lillis for Misty and Jesse. Her two year RIP anniversary is next Monday so take a moment of silence out of respect.
