I expected to lose despite my confident comment

I knew Sneasler could defeat Sylveon and possibly Raichu but I was worried about Goodra

Once Goodra was beat I thought Raichu would end me

I survived that and used my strongest attack, knowing either that would finish it and I'd win or I'd go out with a bang
