Who is better? Floragato or Meowscarada
I think Floragato and Meowscarada are both good Pokémon that could tank other Pokémons. Although the downside is the Meowscarda gains 7 weaknesses when evolving to being part Dark-Type with Bug-Type Moves being super-effective against Darks.
Personally, I like Floragato as it is still quite small enough to ride on a Trainer's shoulder and cuddle with as well. As Meowscarada, it might be too tall although can still walk around with the Trainer. Not to mention, the flower bud on Floragato's neck can act like a Yo-Yo to attack. Assumably, that its moves are Leaf Blade or Seed Bomb.
Shame that Floragato cannot have Dark Pulse as its moves yet. Floragato is the best Grass Pokémon ever!

Meowscarada, who I think is the second coolest ‘mon out of all three Paldean starter lines.
In my opinion Floragato just looks like Meowscarada’s little brother who is trying to be like him. Just a bit smaller and less cool than his evolution. I’m… neutral about moves because I have yet to have one in my team but I’ll see in my next play through.

Well, if you think about it, Floragato might be cool since it does use a flower bud as a killer yo-yo weapon to attack. I think the moves used for the yo-yo are Leaf Blade or Seed Bomb? Besides, you can still have Floragato ride on your shoulder as well since it is 2'11". Plus, it is a Grass-Type so definitely it could swim, I think?
Besides, Meowscarada can be too big and tall to not ride on your shoulder anymore. Not to mention, it does gain a part Dark-Type although it does get affected by Bug-Type moves. Why are Dark-Types affected by Bug-Types, which I don't understand?
