Three things you can do to annoy me!
There are three things in the Pokémon community that I’m REALLY tired of.
1: people complaining about paldea “BrEaKiNg the patterns!” People are (still, somehow) annoyed about stuff like, “FUECOCO ISNT IN THE CHINESE ZODIAC!” Well, listen here bub. Neither. Was. Fennekin! No matter how many times you tell me, a fox is not a dog! Sure, they’re both canines, but it’s a fox. Or people saying, “LECHONK IS A PIG, NOT A RODENT! I guess they’re just calling anything a route-one-rodent now.” Well, guess what other animals arent rodent either. Ferrets, Raccoons, Rabbits, Mongooses. Look at the “route-one rodents” of johto, hoenn, kalos, and alola. STOP YOUR MINDLESS PRATTLE!
2: people saying Pokemon “dont look like Pokemon” ok sure this one makes more sense, I agree. But saying EVERY SINGLE NEWER POKEMON isn’t Pokemon enough is just baloney! Maybe you just havent had years to get used to them, like the others. I agree the bipedal ones look a LITTLE bit too human but I think it shows growth in the Pokémon’s evolutions! And a few others look a bit goofy but changing stuff up makes designs more interesting in my opinion. I don’t know.
finally, 3: people judging Pokémon’s designs. Every time I see someone say “I FIXED this Pokémon’s design!” With some lousy (ok, not all of them) redesign attached, I want to SCREAM! “Yeah, this design is AWFUL chuckles. Never have I ever seen such STUPID design. Here, lemme make its nose a mile long… let’s get rid of the part of design that makes the concept show… ooh lemme make this grass/dark type a grass/flying type because Meowscarada needs wings. Y’know what? I think I should design ALL the new pokemon that are made! Yeah im pretty amazing at insulting amazing artists.” 😒 like, artists work HARD on these designs and then there’s people like THEM that just want to say they’re better and the artist should use AI instead! Yaaaaaayy.. 😑 (I very VERY strongly dislike AI art. I guess that makes FOUR things you can do to annoy me!)
And those are my opinions. To anybody who listened to me rant, thank you, because that was longer than I thought it would be.

I don't think all AI art is bad… it's just a tool. If used right, really good/fun stuff can be made… my issue is people trying to pretend it's authentic art and also when randos overuse it and flood everywhere with horrific slop 🤮

I think the ability to make AI art is okay. It lets someone who can’t draw very well show something they can’t make themselves, if they do it right. But yeah then there’s stuff like six-legged puppies and other nonsense…
Yeah… also pretending you made it is not cool for all sorts of AI stuff! That’s basically stealing work from a place that can’t prove you stole it! Plus, while it’s fun to make little stories in it, like to laugh at with friends, an actual creation of art or writing or whatever it is being done should be the job of a human.
