Whatever picks cards you draw is messed up

The randomness on this game is really bad, I consistently get the same exact hands. Everyone I know has noticed on their own that the randomness algorithm is very messed up in this game. It's very hit or miss, some days it gives me basically the same really good hands every single game and most days it gives me one of three bad hands. It makes playing this game not fun at all, it's not realistic. Would love to just have a fully functional client to play on

That's... That's how variance works. Sometimes you get good hands, sometimes bad. The game doesn't know what a good or bad hand is. It's not targeting you.

Can we please stop trying to blame the app for bad luck or poor deck construction? It has plenty of actual problems to deal with.

I don’t know… when I see the top 6 tournament-viable (IRL of course) decks brick and/or clump at rate that’s higher than what I’d see at IRL events whilst also seeing starter decks doing unusually well in matches then then there may be something funky going on with Live’s psudoRNG.

That said the psudoRNG used for shuffling was something that players have complained about during Online’s lifetime and I’m not surprised to see it being an issue on Live as well. My guess is that the PRNG that both games used may or may not be suited for proper gaming and that the devs only used it because it’s “cheap” enough to fit into both games’ meager budgets.

People complain about that in every game so they can blame the game for their losses. And if course when 1000x as many people are playing it there will be 1000x as many bad hands... There will also be good hands, but nobody talks about those.
