I'm back... and I was not expecting this

Does this make me no longer the "new guy"

I guess. I've been reasonably quiet and maybe average 1-2 posts/day with much of that average being generated from D&D and now Daggerheart. So aside from the fact that my account has been around awhile, I've hardly posted much and especially if you ignore my D&D and now Daggerheart activity.

It kind of is serious. It's foibles of the English language that there are no better descriptions than using a word like "destroy." I feel the era we are in on the forums is one where we drown out each other's meaningful posts. Which is destroying because some threads that are interesting and valuable are not easily found even with the search function. These threads are not being kept "alive."
I'm not saying reaction or "dank" threads don't have a place. There are readers that enjoy that definitely. But maybe we can create a space where we celebrate and popularize original and creative threads. Because without creative people making creative threads and being glorified for such the only importance that would be left is the number of posts. I don't want to live on the internet if there would be a reward for making the most segments of speech.

I understand your previous point... but I wouldn't take it too seriously, in the end there's only so much one can do.
Happy birthday 🥳
