I actually like modern Pokemon stories because it isn’t just “evil corporations bad”

modern pokemon stories in my opinion are kind of bland they use to do it so much better in the older games (I’ve played most mainline pokemon titles) @Hades0918 if you ever get the chance I recommend playing pokemon black and white or black 2 and white 2

This is the reason I play fangames.
The story isn't designed with kids in mind so they have a lot more freedom with deeper themes.
I agree with the fact that the story and Pokemon are what keep you hooked. I don't play Pokemon for the sole purpose of destroying gym leaders with my overdesigned team.

For me the older games were superior in every aspect if you take into account the year they were released... nowadays with few exceptions, almost all of them are falling way below their potential...
It's frustrating when compared to what other companies/games are doing... especially those with way less resources.

This is why I want Nintendo to fully own Pokémon
They would give more than like 2 years for development

Maybe, but the issue isn't so much about limited time... a big part of it is bad corporate decision making and the devs incompetence too.
In the end they want to invest as little as possible and get the highest return imaginable… since they realized that this model works, that's exactly what they've been doing... fans keep buying/playing and they keep profiting despite the disinvestment in overall quality.

I do 4 hours of research each day on this stuff and you can’t come and say stuff that you don’t have any evidence for just because you personally believe it
I know I research daily for multiple hours
It’s so annoying how stupid people just don’t believe me sometimes because “NIntEnDo BaD and iS EviL AnD DuMB”
