I like to describe it as what the world would be like if our current societal/governments/world no longer existed usually caused by some catastrophic event and this is the world after... But that's also not a good description probably, lol.
(I actually like a good dystopian read. That's one of the genres I enjoy 🙂)

A dystopia is a hopeless, ruined, and corrupted world, explained simply. It's the opposite of utopia.

That's actually what sparked this entire idea
I specifically wanted clasingla to be the hero because of that argument and him having such a strong sense of justice and freedom
I randomly remembered saying "You would be that protagonist that would want to ruin my perfect world" or something along those lines
It didn't hit me how good of a story that would make until about two days ago lol

Dystopian is kinda like a chaotic, downtrodden and oppressive society. Where most hope is lost.
