they changed their whole business model
They basically shut down a union within the company when the company overworked them past hours with no extra pay any creative work they make outside of the company belongs to the company even if it’s completely unrelated and the workers just wanting fair working conditions
Forcing the employees to use AI when both the employees and fanbase actively speak out against it (one of the things they tried to form the union on)
Also the people who actually made dnd 5e (the one we were playing) left and is helping work on daggerheart
They are also trying to force a monthly subscription model to get all the new content and locking all content behind that subscription getting rid of any physical releases

so basically daggerheart is a d12 based system so basically when want to roll for something you roll 2d12 each of different color (this will somewhat be a new system for me too) one is a fear dice and one is a hope dice so basically when you roll your dice if the hope dice is bigger than the fear dice the play gets a hope which can be used for bonuses and if the fear dice is higher the dm gets a fear point which they can use to help the enemies/obsticles
(I am not the best at explaining hope and fear dice)
