Either works for me. But if they fingerprint her, they probably have her on record or in the system already. So not answering might happen in casual convos or questionings but if she's dragged into the station too then they'd be able to tell exactly who she is... since she has a past. And she knows that they know who she is IF they actually pulled her prints.... I'm assuming facial recognition is beyond this story?

If the burger is too cold to melt the cheese but too hot to be considered 'cold,' is the cheese cooling down the burger, or is the burger warming up the cheese to a temperature that makes the burger feel colder?

Going back to room temp. So neither. The surrounding environment is equalizing everything.

Cold isn't its own thing, it's what we call the absence of heat. Objects with more heat share it with ones that have less until the amount of heat the objects have is equal.
So, in other words, "cooling something down" is just waiting for it to give away enough heat to the surrounding objects.

Agreed.
Heat is active particles... Bouncing around... Before they get to the point of change of state of matter (i.e. melting point equals change to liquid, solid state particles are compact, gas is particles bouncing around everywhere! Expanding!!).. ...

If the bag is greasy because the food is hot, but the food is cold because the grease leaked out, was the food ever hot enough to be greasy, or was it just greasy enough to feel cold?
