Forums Character Story: Chapter 2

Sherriff max POV:

I was watching the building for any sign of movement. But as I was watching, I noticed that my Pokémon Aron was acting strangely. He was backing up, tugging on my pants leg. It was like he was trying to get my attention.

The next thing me and my team had noticed was a big explosion of fire from the roof of the building, and there it was a Charizard flying through the dark sky. Aron hid underneath the car. My ears felt like they were going to bleed from the loud shriek it had made. Then it was gone. into the dark clouds.

I stood there getting mad at myself. knowing that he had just got away. Just when I was about to leave, I noticed that a person walked out of the building and stopped, just started staring at me. then took off running.

"Hey! POLICE STOP RUNNING AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP!" I yelled.

As I saw her take off around the corner, I looked at Aron and said fetch. Aron took off, taking the right side as I took the left. She was fast, I have to admit.

But as we were running, I couldn't help but notice that she was in a rush to get away from me. which everyone has run away from me before, but this one was different. She was jumping on things, throwing things behind her. She was trained for this, but by whom? A case I would have to discover.

She grabbed a pokeball, threw it up into the sky, and yelled: "Evee, I choose you!" Then, poof, an evee appeared. A Pokémon battle in the middle of a chase. uhhh… I hate doing this.

"Lucario, I choose you!" I yelled.

Evee tried to tackle Lucario, but Lucario used a high jump kick. knocked Evee out with one hit. "No! Evee!" the girl cried.

She picked Evee up and ran, returned her into the pokeball. She tried climbing a fence, then Aron came into play. I was on one side with her, and he was on the other side.

"Aron, Head butt!" I yelled. Then boom. She fell off the fence, hit the hard ground holding her stomach in pain. "Uhh…uhh!" The girl was wincing from the pain.

"Yeah, we still need to work on your headbutting buddy," I said. Aron tilted his head in confusion.

======= Back at the police station =========

"Okay, look, I already know who you are. Your willow, but what I don't understand is why you were at the build where the group of flames of destruction was. Do you know why?" I asked.

"I'm not speaking until I see that Evee is fine," Willow said. I had left the room and brought back Evee with a bandage on her front paw. She squeezed Evee as if she were trying to pop it into pieces. As I was about to start asking questions, she asked: "What age are you?" I sat there wondering what she had up her sleeve. What kind of trick was she trying to pull?

"I'm 20, why?" She stared at me and said, "What is a 20-year-old doing for the cops? Why are you after the flame of destruction?" I stared at her. "You're not the one asking questions, I am."

Willow would barely even talk to Max, but knowing this would probably happen. Max had just left Lucario sitting beside her. Lucario had a mean look on his face towards Willow. "Tell me something I can use for once, Jesus!"

Willow just stared at him. still not talking. "Okay, I guess I just have to charge you with a crime," I exclaimed.

"WHAT?!?!?" she yelled. "I didn't do anything!" she continued to yell.

"You didn't, but your pokeball did," I said.

"What?" she said cooingly.

"Look, you have four Pokémon. Three of them we know about. We know the name attack skills. But now the fourth one on the Pokémon machine, it said unknown, which means you have a Pokémon that nobody knows about, so I can charge you with that".

She had forgotten all about that Pokémon. She knew that if he was to arrest her for it, she wouldn't be able to take care of Hades. So she said that there was going to be a special meeting next month (which was a lie).

The radio went off "ccchhhhzztt! Sheriff Max, please come to the front, over cccchhhhzzzttt". Willow's eyes widened as she had just found out that the cop in front of her was her friend from high school. But now she has to find a way out of here before he comes back.

She walked out of the room knowing she had to be fast. She saw that Aron was guarding the exit. She ran into the storage room and grabbed a bolt from the shelf. fed it to the Pokémon and ran.

As Max walked into the room and saw that she was gone, he got mad. told every cop to have a perimeter search for the girl. He was walking out til someone had texted him from an unknown number saying, "I know where she is, I can tell you, but… It's gonna cost you a lot!"

I stared at my phone and replied: "Like what?"
