How many Pokemon would be need to defeat 1 billion lions

There’s the age-old internet question of 1 billion lions vs. 1 of every Pokemon, but Pokemon obviously win. What I’m more curious about is the least amount of Pokemon needed to defeat 1 billion lions. What Pokemon do you think would succeed? Only one of each Pokemon species.
