I wish we had a show like 'Pokemon to Doko Iku!?" in the west. (Tangent about TV Shows)
Hello! This is the Professional Lurker again!
In case you're wondering where I've been, I've been really busy in Japan for my college semester. I found that in Japan, there is a very cool Variety TV show called "Pokemon to Doko Iku!?" (Also called "Where are we going with Pokemon!?" or "Pokedoko") that airs every Sunday from 7:30AM to 8:30AM. The show is pretty cool! Talking about recent Pokemon news, recent Pokemon collabs within the area, fun themed physical games, and more! The thing that really stands out for me is the general style of the show itself… it feels so different from a variety show we have back home.
I am starting to wonder… do we need a TV show like that in the west at all? It'd be a cool experiment for TPCi to do, but after analyzing the differences between styles… It can only work if there were major changes. I imagine a western Pokemon variety show would be similar to stuff we already have, with more professional looking studios with live audiences, more emphasis on talking to guests, and less elaborate segments and collaborations… I don't know if the show would keep going if it was ported one to one from Japan to the west, but the idea is fun to think about.
But what do you guys think? Did you even know such a show existed in Japan? Do you think a Pokemon Variety show in the west and/or western style would work? Or is this all just me going on a tangent about TV? Thanks for reading!

Indeed! It'd be so cool, too.
One thing, I'm still in Japan! I'll be in Japan until the end of this month.
