This is really far off the initial topic. But, not knowing what to expect, facing unknown challenges as you go on and chase your treasure, experiencing a new adventure unfold is all part of the journey. Life is risky. The challenges are risky. Games are like this for a reason. There's really no sense in playing if there's no feeling of achievement. If one's not comfortable with the risks, then there is a "Save" feature they can spam.

Meeting new Pokémon and characters you didn't have a head start getting to know is part of the fun. It's like a book. Why spoil the ending for yourself, before you read it? It takes away from the world building and dampens the immersion. Each character slowly built up, as one gets to know them. If the protagonist had no challenges and just had everything go right, the story would become dull. No one would want to read it. So, why dampen one's own experience by spoiling the game for one's self?

Anyway, the topic is of "theories". I'm afraid leaks don't exactly match the intended topic. And if the leaks are correct, then they're spoilers that some of us rather not have.

Do you have any theories or further input on some given ones? I'd love to hear them.

    Yes. Rock is rock.

But, jokes aside, that is a good point, that I kinda forgotten about.

However, I was moreso looking for how or why it created Area Zero or even came to this world to begin with? There's a lot of mysteries surrounding Terapagos and Area Zero. I'm curious of how you'll connect them together with the rest of the crazy details in the Pokémon universe.

(I just realized... There's a lot of lore to comb through, in the Pokémon universe.)

The literal Pokédex Entry for Deoxys in the office Pokémon website's Pokédex: "The DNA of a space virus underwent a sudden mutation upon exposure to a laser beam and resulted in Deoxys. The crystalline organ on this Pokémon’s chest appears to be its brain."

The timeline does fit. Especially, since it has been mentioned that the Origin of Mega Evolution was actually in Hoenn, the Sootopolis was the birth site of the strike that triggered the Primal Reversion (or Rayquaza's Mega Evolution I kinda forgot). And that was said to have occurred 3,000 years ago, just as the AZ's firing of the Ultimate Weapon.

I'm still leaning towards Alola, but I am intrigued by the idea that we may get a Hoenn game, where we can actually travel into space. Maybe even visit another planet, within the same dimension. (Let's go to the moon and visit all the Clefairy!)

Okay. I wouldn't mind something like that. Just a note, though. Violet is a shade of both Blue and Purple. It's not a bad idea. Needs more planning for sure, and would probably be set with a counterpart game, maybe taking place in Johto of the distant past with Scarlet Paradox Pokémon, and Professor Sada. Or, a fused game. (Although, based on the designated Paradoxes, it could be possible that we'd get future Unova and past Johto. But, maybe we'd get a hint of Kanto, due to Johto and Kanto being side by side. Plus, with future Unova and past Kanto, we could still have Mewtwo, as it is suggested in the anime—at least—that Team Plasma made another Mewtwo and was the first introduction of Mewtwo's Y Mega. Also, Kanto could just be located in the present.)

But, it's just an idea, of course. (And, using anime lore is okay, as we do see several suggestions that Ash Ketchum exists in the games, due to Ash-Greninja—may he soon return to us in the near future—Pikachu with each of Ash's Caps, and not to mention Acerola's trial, in the backroom—which apparently only existed when facing Totem Mimikyu.)

Okay. As I've mentioned before, we can't act like we know what they're gonna do, because Legends is new territory. A lot of things people said "they're not gonna do", they ended up doing. They haven't truly set a pattern in these games.

Will they do Kanto? It's not likely... But, it's also not an impossibility either.

Legends Arceus, they used a First Partner from Johto, Unova and Alola. Legends Z-A used used two First Partners from Johto and one from Unova. They could use the remaining three, or they may use an entirely different round-up.

Legends Arceus didn't have DLC, but Legends Z-A does.

So far, they have had some constants. (From what can be analyzed.) We see them somewhat follow a theme of time jumps. One is in the distant past, one is in the present.

We also see the Pokémon is a Legendary (Zygarde) or Mythical (Arceus), relating to their designated regions.

Plus, we can't forget the constant appearance of rifts.

A few other mentions are the behaviors of Rei/Akari and Ingo—showing symptoms resembling that of a Faller. The same symptoms that we see Looker have at the Battle Resort in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. (Rei or Akari, depending on who you play as.) And Darkrai being the only Mythical (not any Legendaries either) appearing in both Legends games.

We could get any of the regions that they "won't use". We really don't actually know.

You could be absolutely correct about Hoenn. But, there's still a question of "will they?" I'd like to remind you that Mega Dimension uses all the main Legendary Pokémon, plus two others that Mega Evolve, plus all three of their First Partners. According to your aforementioned points, this kinda derails your theory a bit. (Again, it could still be Hoenn, but we can't just act like it's a certainty.)

I could be wrong about it being Alola, but I truly believe it fits the themes and timeline. And although they did use all the Alolan Mythicals in Mega Dimension, we didn't get a single one of the Alolan Legends. Plus, if you noticed, all of the Alolan Mythicals have—two of the Alolan Mythicals have obtained Mega Evolutions. No Mythical related to Unova, nor the absent Hoenn Mythicals have gotten any Mega Evolutions. So, I really think it will be Alola.

By the way, all these points making me think more, made me wonder… What if instead of being given a Legends game of Hoenn, we were given it as DLC for Winds and Waves, just like we got Blueberry Academy (in Unova) for Scarlet and Violet? I mean, it'd allow us to keep Mega Evolution as we return to the main duo games. Plus, it wouldn't interfere with the currently existing patterns.

This isn't to say we wouldn't see a Hoenn Legends game, it just might not be the very next one.

Another note about Alola. If my theory is correct, we might see it with Gyms. We see in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon that Ryuki has built a Kantonian Gym in Malie City on Ula'ula Island. Who's to say that we won't see more Gyms (hopefully coexisting with the Island Trials) in Alola, in a Legends game taking place in the distant future?

Plus, with Galar also being known for the Ultra Wormholes and Ultra Beasts occuring in it, it could maybe be part of a DLC for the next Legends game. (Not necessarily, but the possibility can't be overlooked.)

As a said, theory. I talked like I was certain just for the sake of the theory and how it would work. In truth I am not certain…

    He did

He fired the Ultimate Weapon in the same time frame as the Darkest Day

He experienced it, so I assume it happened after he did that, meaning he might have attracted Eternataus with the Ultimate Weapon
