- the first pure flying type was introduced in gen 8
- Curse had no type when it was introduced

I knew Clavell and Clive were the same person the moment I met him
Gen 8 was Galar, but the only Flying type I remember from there was Corviknight, which was part Steel
I don't know about Curse, but going based on my Galar knowledge I'll say the lie is option 1
