When the time comes, I'll take Twinned Spell for Metamagic. Applies to Ray of Frost so figure I can fire two Rays at the same time at two different targets(not sure if it applies to Sorcerous Burst too. Pretty sure it won't apply to Mage Armor or Shield though given I can cast them on myself). Also, I'm pretty sure I already have a subclass(Clockwork Soul) so the only thing I'd have to do is pick Metamagic. Twinned Spell is the one that I like right now but I could change my mind in ~3-4 weeks lol. Yet right now, it's that specialization.
If you plan on doing a session next week, maybe Blaze, Ashes and Mr.T can go on a little side-quest like I did awhile back.

My response hasn't appeared yet but level 3 introduces Metamagic. Right now I'm leaning Twinned Spell. Permits me to expend Sorcery points to have a spell/cantrip hit a 2nd target(Sorcerous Burst and Ray of Frost qualify here if im not mistaken with the latter only costing 1-point since it's a Cantrip). Right now that's my answer but in 3 weeks or when the time comes for level 3, I might change my mind. Granted, if I was, I'm not entirely sure what I'd change it for.

Does Extended Spell work on Snow Warning? Just curious since that'd be a neat little thing. The other option I'm considering is Quickened Spell that permits me to change a spell from an action to a bonus action, effectively allowing me to cast two spells on the same turn for the cost of 2-points if my understanding of it is correct(like I can cast Sorcerous Burst in that fashion and follow it up with a Cantrip(even better if an enemy tries to attack me, then I hit them with Ice Shard, Sorcerous Burst and then Ray of Frost… lol)). Seeking Spell is another option I'm considering because I can use Sorcery points to re-roll an Attack in the event it misses, saving me Inspiration points. Transmuted Spell is a good one too because who wouldn't like Ray of Fire/Lightning or another element with a different added effect(like Burn for Fire, Paralysis for Lightning…).
Right now though I'm leaning Extended Spell because I can unleash hell on one particular turn with it but the cost of 2 points is rather steep given we're only level 3(hence 3 Sorcery points to work with). I think I gain another spell slot too but I might opt to utilize +2 Sorcery points if I don't like any of the spells or I might just upgrade a spell like Sorcerous Burst(if I can).
Btw, are we going to "learn" new Pokemon moves? Not sure what a level 3 D&D class would equate to level-wise but since we go up to level 20, I figure 1 D&D level = 5 levels in Pokémon so that'd be level 15 and I learn Icy Wind at level 16… so… pretty please? XD I'm going to have to wait until level 5 before I get Aurora Beam. Level 6 would give me Extrasensory and level 7 would give me Ice Beam. I'd have to wait until level 9 for Aurora Veil and level 10 before I get my really OP Freeze Dry though. That is of course unless I evolve before then and can "learn" these moves at will along with Dazzling Gleam. Icy Wind should behave like Ray of Frost in that it deals Ice/Cold damage with an insane SLOW added onto it.
