(Before I start this, Joey, the cousin is Aphrodite)

Mine is more of a series of memories that relate to each other

So when Pokémon Unite first came out, me and my cousin immediately got the game

So my cousin isn't into Pokémon

She tried to be because I was and her parents were and she wanted to share that enjoyment with us

Now a days she openly doesn't care about Pokémon

Anyways, we got the game and immediately started playing together

We found friends groups and specific people we enjoyed playing with more than others

It was amazing!

At least once a week we would play together with our favorite "friends" and we would go for hours, having dumb talks and getting excited over the smallest things

It was amazing

You know, there was one time we got two of our favorite friends

One was closer to her than me and the other vice versa

We did custom matches and played against each other than left the lobbies after five matches, made our own lobbied, and invited the friend we just played with to it

So my cousin had her own lobby with her friend and me my own with mine

We then started a Quick Match at the same thing

We were talking while we waited for a match and, to our surprise, we got out into the same Quick Match against each other!

We just finished battling each other and then by complete chance got put against each other again!

We laughed so hard and talked about it for days, trying to pull it off again but couldn't

Well after a bit we kind of stopped playing Unite

Nothing bad happened

Just stopped

And then she stopped trying to be into Pokémon and so she didn't care for Unite

I went back to the game and I couldn't get into it

It wasn't as fun without her

Well recently I've been playing again because I found an amazing friends group that really rekindled that feeling

In case your wondering who, it's with @Dragonfly102024

I guess for me it's not really Unite that holds the fun of the memories but the people I'm playing with

Sorry for how long it is but I'm exciting to hear your stories!

Awwwwwweeeeee... You're too kind! (Me, wiping happy tears from my eyes)

I am glad we have been able to help you enjoy the game once again, along with making a few new good battle buddy-friends. Hopefully, this will all last for a long time ... If not, you're correct in that we are creating some good memories. 🙂

When I was a kid, I exclusively got completed games. I'd get stuck in random places often (one time I got stuck in Aether paradise for a few days) and didn't know how to play the game, but I'd always want to beat the league, which I'd fail at even with Lv. 100 Pokémon. The first game I reset and played from start to finish was Pokémon Sun, and I actually understood how to play it that way better than on a completed game, and I managed to get to the league. But when I defeated the Elite Four, I had to stop before getting to the Champion battle because of bedtime. So that night, I wondered what would happen if I beat the Champion. I imagined my Pokémon all standing in a circle around me, in almost exactly the same scene as the actual game, despite never having seen the Hall of Fame scene in any form before that. I was absurdly happy and surprised when it turned out I was right. I don't think I could ever get that level of joy playing Pokémon ever again, especially since I've beaten almost all the games so many times now and am familiar with everything (and if I'm not familiar with something, I can just use the internet to figure it out). I also remember trying to get Cosmog by putting Solgaleo and Lunala in the nursery together (before figuring it out, through the internet. Which I'm pretty sure I wasn't allowed to use to that degree at the time, but I wanted Cosmog and did it anyways).
