Can we please start making titles more clear? / Can we stop making so many irrelevant posts?

The amount of titles that just aren't titles at all is insane. The whole point of a title is to tell the viewer what they'll be reading, and engaging with. So many of the posts here require you to actually click on them only for it to be needless and pointless spam. It's just annoying.

Which leads me to my other point. A lot of the posts are just irrelevant, and off topic. This is a Pokemon based forum. I understand there is a community here, but ultimately it's a Pokemon community. And I think it should stay that way. If you want to engage with other people about other things, than find another online community to join to discuss them. Again, it just feels like spam.

I used to be really spammy myself, and I'm sorry about it. But I really just can't stand these types of posts, and I'd like to at least make them less frequent.

Thanks for reading my rant.

Yeah. I agree. One of the big reasons why I'm debating leaving the forums is because of all the random posts on games that aren't even pokemon cough cough RYTHEM HEAVEN cough cough

OP it's absolutely correct. There is this proverb that pretty much sums it up: "Open your mouth only if what you are going to say is more beautiful than silence."

Also same applies to the TCG Pocket trading posts... I know the trading system it's horrible, but there is already a giant thread about trades, why keep creating new threads...

Honestly, I don't mind if a post gets off topic

I've had that happen many times and that leads to fun conversations

But this is a place for Pokémon

Making posts about other things isn't for this place

Now, vague names does get annoying

If used for dramatic effect then cool

But giving pointless names is obnoxious

I'm laughing because practically every single thread I started is Unite or TCGP related, only two other Pokemon stuff. I'm pretty sure my titles are clear... I lay out my ideas and what not, sometimes ask for upvotes for a show of support, but half of them have been labeled "Spam" when they were obviously not, just because someone doesn't agree with me. I only have 14 posts....

So one person's spam clearly isn't another's. Or the system is broken.

Remember, there are also categories here for a reason. Feedback, strategy & news for a few of the games & game types, AND, yes, a "community lounge" for fun and the Pokemon community to connect over Pokemon related things.

If you want to skip what others are connecting over and go straight to the more serious topics, how to's and questions, then my recommendation is to avoid those areas or categories altogether.

(And yes, I realize that if you like looking at the overall feed by choosing the three lines at the top left of our screens, then selecting "Discussions," it does not list them by category, only by what's "hot" or perhaps recent)

If I get flagged for this again, I'm gonna laugh because that would mean every single comment on this thread should also be flagged. Not only did I just describe what was fact (actually happened to me) but I am including my opinion, regardless of how popular it might be. No, I am not discounting the opinions of others, so don't do so to me either. If no flag, then I'll be happy for actually being able to discuss these ideas rationally. Thank you.

(And again, I disagree with the one big thread for trades in TCGP. See my post for why and my ideas regarding that issue using the tools we have available within the current forum capabilities... I wouldn't be surprised if it was flagged too, lol)
