List of version exclusives in Firered and Leafgreen

LeafGreen exclusives are why I’d get it cough Vulpix Koffing and Sandshrew on Route 3. Curious as to what moveset they’ll have too. Will they have a modified Gen 3 moveset or retain what they had on Scarlet/Violet(for those that were in Gen 9). I’m a bit annoyed they moved Slash to level 30 on Sandshrew when he learns it at level 17 in Yellow(partly what makes him so good). Upside is that he learns a Ground move for once.
If I get LeafGreen and that’s a BIG IF, my team wouldn’t utilize the starters. It’d be Raichu, Parasect, Nidoqueen, Ninetales, Clefable, and Starmie(another version exclusive and fast enough to sweep three of the four Elite Four). Curious if they’ll permit Gen4+ Evolutions, Return TM and how they’ll handle HM’s.

I got Fire Red
I plan on using Pokémon I usually don't due to finding cooler ones

I plan to teach it Fly since I'll need HMs now

I don't normally raise my Magicarps and it will be much harder to do in this game (no EXP Share) but I'm determined! I'll teach it Surf

Why not? I don't like it, but it's a power house that may come in handy

I need Pokémon for Cut and Flash and I'm considering Persian

If I find a Dragonite, though, I'm totally using it
I don't like Dragonite, but it can learn Surf and Fly (I think it can also learn Cut) allowing Charizard and Gyrados to learn better moves and is a brute

My suggestion would that if you decide to level any pokemon(of course there's some luck involved) remember friendship is the bond that determines how strong they will be. And just because others see a pokemon as weak that doesn't mean a strong bond and training won't make a pokemon strong enough to break through barriers.

Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers should try to win with their favorites.

@Hades0918 Be careful with Gyarados' moveset, physical and special moves are based on the type and not the move itself in this game (for example, Bite uses Sp. Atk because it's a Dark type move).
An easy way to remember which types are which is:
- All Eeveelutions are special types
- Normal and types that don't have an Eeveelution are all physical.
So, try to avoid giving Water or Dark type or other special type moves to Gyarados, because its Sp. Atk is horrible (lower than half its Attack) and if you use it like that you're not using its full potential.
