on FRLG topic I have a friend who played it as there first pokemon game and found every bug catcher

his team was 5 level 20 pokemon and 89 blastoise when he beat it

Yeah but its a 20 year old game and its a digital release, there is no cost of manufacturing a cartridge or boxes only hosting on a server, plus the prices for digital purchases in the past on the e store were cheaper.

Yes but that still doesn't really justify the pricing compared to similar eshop releases in the past. Yes it is cheaper than it was back then but its significantly more expensive than similar eshop releases on the 3DS and Wii U (double the price).
