Don't bother playing the game

After playing this game for a while now I can honestly say that you should not bother playing it. The mechanics and game algorithm are completely broken. The ranked experience favours players that are from the Asian pacific region (just look at the top 100). Even for a casual game the RNG is so unfair and clearly favouritism. The experience is just awful. They never listen to the fans. Honestly the game could be so much more, but honestly they only care about money. Too many coin flips and the like. It is horrible experience. Very similar to tcg live. The game is great but only in person honestly. I still play it because it's enjoyable most of the time, much more than pocket, but it truly could be so much more. Nintendo is definitely out of touch with what its older fans want in games and it clearly shows.

    I have to agree, the game content and features has barely changed in a year... with so much income and giant player base I would expect much more.

    They made some improvements but too little too late... And the trading is still horrible, the ranking matches for the majority stops at Master ball 1st tier, solo play it's insignificant unless you're a new player, and the events are just the same repetitive boring stuff every seasson.
