I agree. I think this battle pass option would fit better if it was an alternative to the aeo coins system. Or you can use aeo coins in the battle pass maybe? But on a community level I would've stuck with the coin system. It was easier and simpler to comprehend friends I have introduced the game to, which is based on personal experience. And based on a lot of online perspectives not just real life friends, a lot community prefers the aeo coins options rather than the battle pass.
To give context I'm a returning player. I've played for a while and I enjoyed the aeo coins system more than I realized. And I used to spend money while the aeo coins system in place, and I know people still spent money when the aeo system was around. But with this new system there's more prices tags on everything and everywhere. Especially when you're trying to get a new Pokemon, which kinda hurts the experience of "free to play."

@TPCi_GarbageKing there a few things we players did not ask for in the next update for license upgrades saying will consider it sounds like the devs don't care also one moveset is a joke to try to get money from us players then later consider 2. Your dev team are leading unite down the path of destruction the more monetization greed the worst things for unite will get. I hate when business men don't know gaming or play there games. Even on this community our feedbacks get 100% ignored with no mod staff or unite developer staff representative saying anything on topic feedback we post. I guess they care for business and money then us players

i'll reiterate my key points.
this system has removed the core dynamic of both pokémon /and/ moba games. this franchise and these games stand out because the players are able to choose to play the characters they enjoy or like. with the Licence Journey system, players no longer have that choice. i no longer feel incentivised to play, and therefore will no longer be spending money on this game. similarly, i cannot in good faith recommend Unite to friends or family, as they will not be able to make decisions that would make the game enjoyable.
