I think not very. I like grass, fire, water core. Then sprinkle in electric, fighting, ghost, flying. In games there are times opponents don't match these typing. So I'll switch to one of the others.

I usually put the Legendaries in my team because they're "cool" but never use them because I love my other Pokémon more
I've learned to just stop using them because they're a waste of Party spots

For me, the cool one is always a Falinks. They never do much, but I love them with all my heart
