May’s Advanced Generation Era Deserves a Comeback — Who Else Wants This?

I’ve been rewatching the Pokémon Advanced Generation anime, and it reminded me how special May’s era really was. Her growth as a Coordinator, the Contest battles, her personality, her bond with her Pokémon — it all created one of the most iconic eras in the entire series.

I think it’s time for Pokémon to celebrate May again. Whether it’s a special episode, a short series, updated Contest battles, or even a cameo in a future anime, she deserves another moment in the spotlight.

Who else wants to see May return or get more recognition?

    they don't do anything beyond silent cameos with may because her JP voice actor is ill with spasmodic dysphonia and retired/on hiatus since 2012

    I know, that's why they/we should honor may and treat her her voice acter (Kaori) with respect for her work she had done.

    i am a teen fan also but i know hoenn because i first saw it on my tv once and now it made me like hoen and May.

    Will never happen because KAORI doesn't voice act anymore and she's May's VA. As much as she warrants a return now that Dawn has returned three times, I just don't see it in the cards. Maybe in a side series if they can persuade KAORI to do it. In some respects a Coordinator/Performer side series wouldn't be a bad idea as it'd give a way to promote/show the growth of the Female Trainers we've come to know over the years.

    I think it would be so cool if they brought May back to the anime for another episode or two. Or at least a future cameo in the anime would be nice.
