Remove the fx for 1-star cards when ripping packs
It’s so disappointing to see the lighting fx and/or hear the pop sound, indicating you have a “rare” card only for it to be a 1-star card. While they have nice artwork, most are basic pokemon with low hp and low attack damage. The pull rates in this game are already abysmal. You don’t need to then go and give us false hope on top of that. It just adds insult to injury.

I honestly don't think the 1 star fx is that disappointing, even if it's a "bad" card... lol
I mean, what's really disappointing to me is opening streak dozens of packs containing pure garbadge... or wasting so many wonder pick hourglasses for absolutely zero value.

The cards just aren’t rare enough to warrant the animations and fx, and they’re mostly basic mon w/ low hp and low attack damage. They’re just not good cards. I don’t know why we’re supposed to be excited for them. Just seems like a way for DeNA to act like they’re doing us a favor when they really aren’t.
I don’t disagree with your second point at all though. I am SO tired of pulling garbage. I don’t even get excited to open packs anymore. More bulk. More filler. More useless cards. I spent $100 recently, and all I got was 1 one-star and 1 double shiny, and I already had both. I got zero 2-star, zero 3-star, zero crown rare. Yet they wonder why people are leaving the game in droves… 🤔 They are so stingy with everything in this game. 🙄 They could double the pull rates, and they’d still be garbage.
