Edit suggestions for the Rockets Mewtwo Battle deck?

I'm pretty new to the paper TCG / Live, I picked up the Mewtwo battle deck and I am wondering what would be some good cards to swap out and what would be good to swap in?

I am currently using Scramble Switch as my ACESPEC, not sure if another would work better?

Munkidori seems like a good one to sub in, maybe instead of the Mimikyu.

Articuno seems super situational and I am not sure how often its ability is really helping me, but having it and mimikyu are nice to beef up the number of rocket pokemon in play.

Some other team rocket pokemon I am looking at are Sneasel, chingling, maybe one copy of grimer and muk. Orbeetle?

Team Rockets Greatball?

Budew?

I'm in the same spot! Just got back into playing and I like the vibe of Team Rocket so that's what I have been working with the last few days. I have just been playing on Live but I do plan to start playing at my LGS soon with the Team Rocket deck I'm working on.

So far I am in my 4th version of the deck. I keep modifying a couple cards here and there.

Here is some feedback I have found after about 25-30 matches:

    1. Crobat line just didn't do much for me. I had it as 2 copies of each for a while, then one, then removed it.
    2. Agreed about Articuno, but Mimyku is still in mine and helps about 20% of the time.
    3. I also tried the Porygon line for 10 matches but find it was so a little to slow. Currently running without it.
    4. Increased Spidops. It's fast and just a 1 prize.
    5. Surprisingly Persian had been awesome! It's won me at least 2 games where I was behind and should've lost. I am up to running 2 copies
    6. Also went as high as 4 Mewtwo, but I am now at 2 and its fine so far. Might go back to 3.

Maybe team rockets nidoking ex would be a good match up. I know someone who made a team rockets persian and nidoking deck, and it's a really good deck. I played hydreigon ex against it once and persain ex copied hydreigon ex 4 turns in a row! I couldn't stop laughing. I was defeated with my own attack. Dark and Psychic usually makes a good combo. It might be fun to try. Also, I think you should stick with the scramble switch. And articuno is pretty situational, you might want sub it with battle cage. Battle cage pervents all damage counters being placed to the Bench versus damage done to basic team rockets pokemon. This would block stuff like Dragapult, munkadoria, and dusknoir. But, that also means that you can't damage the bench ethier. Whether you want to try it or not is up to you. You should also try, team rockets archer, team rockets ariana, team rockets giovanni, team rockets petrel, team rockets proton, team rockets factory, team rockets great ball, team rockets transceiver, team rockets venture bomd, and team rockets watch tower. Also, Fezandipiti ex. You could also try team rocket's arvark.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!
