The Warrior’s Mission, Chapter One, Rewrite
Chapter one
A shiny lucario was at his desk which was in a castle tower silently writing in his diary. Within his diary was inscribed, “Dear diary, today is another boring day that happened to land on July third in the year five hundred. I had to train hard, again. I like to be stronger but this is too much. My father seems distraught due to the fact the Arceus has not appeared yet. Arceus was assigned to appear last week, he is never late. Dad has decided that he shouldn’t send his own soldiers to Mt. Coronet because it would not be holy to send ordinary warriors to supplicate a god. My father’s age is preventing him from making the journey. I think I may be fit for this job, but last time I tried asking permission my father rebuked me. I fear he feels sending me away would cause him to lose his only son and as a king he must uphold a sacred lineage.”
Slowly standing up, the lucario grumbled as he stood up getting off of his chair. He muttered, “I am a full grown shiny lucario, a prince at that. It should be my duty to protect the kingdom.”
“Come on, kid. We have training to do,” An aegislash yells from the plaza. The wise blade master was a strong fighter in his glory days but now in his aged form his true skills lie in teaching his craft.
“Alright, be there in a sec,” The boy quickly responds. As the he is getting ready his ears perk up. He thought, “I hear something, some form of commotion in the plaza,” “Auracalcum, get down here now, something is happening,” The aegislash yells.
He slided down the ladder out of the tower, raced across the empty hallway, rounded the bend, and leapt down the stairs landing in a roll.
From the plaza he could see Mt. coronet, which was shrouded by a purple mist, lightning struck the top of the peak.
Everyone was in a tizzy, the wise ones frantically theorizing, the guards plotting the next move, the children hiding in poorly picked spots, but the lone lucario calmly stood still and as he peared into the haze he felt something, a presence.
A voice spoke out of the mist but no one other than the lucario heard it, “Auracalcum, Auracalcum. You are the last hope, tell your father these words which I inscribe into your head and depart for Mt. coronet, my power is draining, I cannot tell you all until you free me.”
The young prince responded, “But I am not strong enough yet, am I?”
“At the moment you could not handle all which lays beyond you, but when you reach it you will have grown, in mind body and spirit. The fact that your aura is strong enough to sense my presence is good. You must take the north road, wear a cloak and do not reveal your identity to anyone beyond the Great Wall,” The mysterious voice replied.
“I think I understand,” I responded.
“Good, now fly, and may my godly speed embrace you for there is not much time remaining,” The last words fading like a mist.
OK I decided to rewrite this because I changed my mind on some stuff.
@Hades0918 @UnovanZorua what do you think? Do you like this better?

Yeah, I am thinking because he will have to face Mewtwo by the end he will probably have some ghost and dark types with him. Maybe a ceraludge and someone else.

That is a good point, Zoroark I will consider, I will post the second chapter now which will divulge my answer on ceraludge.
