My turn- Playing ZA!

So the final member of my team is an alpha Dragonite named Hermes! He’s not super trained yet but he’s getting there. Anyway, I haven’t commented in a while so I have a bit to say.
Taunie, you IDIOT, IDIOT IDIOT! One million into debt?! Come on! But then she apologized after fighting a Rouge Mega, and I couldn’t stay angry. I just can’t stay angry at these guys. And then Corbeau was kind of nice after awhile, and I just feel like Pokèmon are bringing out the best in him. That’s something I like to see!
My whole team is around 60 in level now. Whisper has a super hindering nature, so she’s getting worse and worse in battle as things go on. The rest of them… I got too strong, honestly. I one-shot half of what I meet and two shot the rest, with the exceptions of alphas and Canari’s Elektross. That thing is a BEAST! But thanks for the challenge and the awesome battle music, Canari. And your quiz whiz was great, even though I cheated.
I shot my way to Rank B. Ivor is a riot: “I have punched many walls in my life, and this is definitely NOT a wall!” Yeah. I feel sorry for Gwynn, to paraphrase Canari, “stuck with a meathead like Ivor”. Then I met Jacinthe. I was actually looking forward to battling in it, then Vinnie HAD to call… but I guess saving Pokemon comes first, right? Then Jacinthe started stalking me, which was just… I don’t know. Flattering that she wants me in her tournament so bad, but also… creepy. The tournament was fun, I beat Canari again (“@#$&*%$#@!!!”) and beat Ivor and Corbeau. Taunie lost first round, which just made me think, “THIS is my rival?” I felt kinda annoyed for a second there. Then Zygarde battled me again and turned into 50%. I’m gonna be honest- I like the doggo better. Then at some point Luda said, “So Zygarde’s really strange but also really likes you? Sounds like Jacinthe!” insert me spewing out curry here “No, it sounds like Taunie.” XD2 -

One million in Poké is approximately six thousand and something in US dollars, which isn't even nearly as bad as a million.
Nature mints are just 10,000 and can be found almost anywhere. Just go to a flower shop (not a building, but I forgot what it was called. It's a wooden tent thing) and check if they have the ones you need.
The character supposed to be our rival losing in the first match, especially considering they're almost always the same exact rank as you, was extremely disappointing and a weird decision. Why couldn't the writers even let them get to the second round?

Canari's Eelektross learns coverage moves for Ground types. She has Fire Fang(for Steel/Ground) but also gets Liquidation that can sting quite a bit. Still… one Earthquake, particularly if boosted as a Plus Move, is all you need to beat her. Excadrill was my Ground pick and that thing is a beast. Had Rock Slide for Emolga, MegaHorn and Iron Head once I got the TM for it. Rest of my team was Feraligatr, Delphox(no Mega stone, not needed honestly… gave her Wise Glasses), Venusaur(Mega Stone isn't needed but its nice to have), Froslass(found a Dawn Stone while doing Ivor's side quest and her Mega is pretty neat ngl) and Sylveon(Pixie Queen is a monster with a Fairy Flower… ditto Clefable and if you want a strong Pokémon, I highly recommend Sylveon or Clefable. Draining Kiss + Moonblast is straight up nuts and their Speed isn't as big of an issue so their strengths really shine).

Also, the question that the game constantly asks me is “Are these wild zones really a good idea?” There’s a lot of questions. What about people without Pokèmon? This makes it significantly harder for them to get around and get things. And then like the Fist of Justice, is it really living alongside Pokèmon to coop them up in these little holo spaces? I personally feel for the Pokémon, and feel like they are kind of stuck. On the other hand, letting them just roam wild- undeniable disaster. Also, what about when they’re put in the wrong places? Like the one in the cemetery- sure that’s good for the Ghost-Types, and that’s a good thought- they’re comfortable there, but what about the people that need to pay their respects or visit them…?

So I've reached the climax of the game. I did NOT see the coffee guy being Grisham coming at all. It was just really cool to see first of all- Lysandre's voice in the labs say an almost identical quote to what he says to you and your rival in X/Y, not to mention pictures in the same sort of art as AZ's story from X, it was all just very… not exactly nostalgic, but it was sort of touching. I reached Rank A, and then Taunie just declared that she hit Rank A too (I'll be honest, I thought it was gonna be us vs. Taunie for the Promotion Match).
Also, Taunie is way more well thought then she looks at first glance. She just seems like she wants to help a weird amount at first glance. Under that, she wants to be in the spotlight- let's face it, which other rivals have shown this? Jealousy. Toward the player. Direct, embarrassing, annoyed they feel the way they do. I can think of Hop, and a) I'm slightly biased, and b) even I admit his is mostly friendly. She's jealous of me! Of how good a Pokémon trainer I am. Of how everyone on Team MZ has sort of started following me instead of her, the leader. That I'm fine, no matter how much is thrown at me. I can't state this enough- she got humanly jealous. She's possibly the most human rival yet. She is, in my opinion, at least of what I've played. X- Serena: she talked like a robot except for random moments of sass. So not her. Hau: plain happy, happy, happy, 24/7. You can't put him down, but he's missing some negative emotions. Neamona: Okay, when I looked at her deeper, she's better. But still- too much of a recording that just asks "battle me!" over and over. Hop: as much as I love the guy, he's not always human- he does get jealous, but his obsession with being a legend is a little less so. TAUNIE GOT JEALOUS. OF ME. AND SHE LET IT OUT. WE FOUGHT ABOUT IT. SHE JUST WANTED TO BE THE LEADER. WE'RE TAKING THAT FROM HER. SHE WAS ON TOP, LEADER, BEST TRAINER, THEN WE SHOWED UP, THE PERFECT KID, AND SLOWLY TOOK IT FROM HER. You can see her stressing "I'm the leader!" or "Don't you want a break?" or even later comments about "Hey, how do we know it's him? Why not me?" We're tearing down what she built, because we're the perfect trainer. Then she gets over it. She lets it all out in one battle over Floette. She loses. She honestly probably knew in the back of her mind she would. But she was JEALOUS. JEALOUS of everyone turning to us-even herself- to ask for what to do, instead of her.
Okay, I'm done. Other than that- it was also amazing to see Taunie get her chance to be the main character. She takes Mega Floette, and does her part to stop Ange. Then, after that, seeing the whole Z-A cast gather, and Corbeau even adknowledges how weird it is that we all met, just because we all butted heads and grew on each other. We, as the player, are the one bringing everyone together. The weirdest bits of the city, from the Fist of Justice siblings, to a streamer girl and her grandpa, to the leader of the Rust Syndicate, to a colorful bunch of teens who just got tasked with saving the city. Going from each of them to reach Ange Tower has just been amazing to watch happen.
