True but what's the point in hosting events if few, if anyone, participates? Makes all that work go to waste as I see it. I shall try to clear a Yellow run within the timeframe using just 4 Pokemon: Gloom(for Cut), Nidoqueen(Strength + Earthquake and all around good Pokemon. Underrated given its male counterpart despite learning OP Body Slam natively), Gyarados(OP for a reason, even if Water doesn't really take advantage of its 125 Attack) and Lapras(I get one for free but the grind to get it up to speed is going to be daunting). Hardest obstacle to me is probably going to be Koga and Sabrina(she's always a pain). Rest should fall easily. Debating whether to add another in Vaporeon but I probably won't as Lapras kind of fills the same role but with a weaker Special(but Ice STAB so… meh).
