On youtube I saw someone make a video of how Mega Mewtwo was on a artwork for pokemon GO so mabey it might be added.

Yeah that was artwork a few years ago but the main reason is the assets for both mega Mewtwos were added last February. Also we have a great date for them which is go fest 2026. Go fest 2026. Could easily line up with the 10th anniversary of Pokémon go and with there being a lot of mega evolution stuff going on thanks to Z-A and Mewtwo being the last unreleased mega it is highly speculated that he will be released on go fest 2026.
