Abilities not functioning for all pokemon

During a match I was attacked by a pokemon with an ability using cornerstone mask ogerpon ex. It has an ability to prevent attacks from any pokemon with an ability. Is this just a glitch that will be fixed soon. It's pretty disappointing to lose a match when abilities aren't applied correctly

What pokemon was it? that's a very important distinction since cornerstone only prevents "damage," not other effects of attacks, even if those effects do something similar to damage.

You have to be more specific about what was in play and the attack used... most likely isn't a bug, you probably missed something.
There are several ways to damage Cornerstone even when the attacking Pokemon has an ability.
