Scarlett First Impressions(Switch 2) and more

Actually Larry wasn’t that easy after doing another run late last night so Campaign Update: Without a Fighting type to sweep his team aside, Larry was surprisingly strong since Komala can take a hit or two while being immune to status ailments. Then you factor in Yawn and well… he was a pain. Then Dundunsparce has Glare + Drill Run so using my Croc wasn’t advised and even Excadrill was vulnerable. So I used Beira but she fell to Dundunsparce because he’s not only bulky but Hyper Drill hits like a truck. Then Excadrill came in and finished him off. Then he was solid against Staraptor but inexplicably Staraptor doesn’t have Close Combat. Why I’ll never know so I basically resisted his Facade and beat him with STAB Drill Run. Atticus was next and Excadrill swept him easily since he had nothing to counter a Ground/Steel type. I then did 4th Titan where Beira basically OHKO with Blizzard(165 power with 100% accuracy is nice). Then I did Ryme, Tulip and Grusha in quick succession. Ryme was swept aside by Skuntank making his Gym debut alongside my Croc before soloing Tulip because she has nothing to deal with Dark/Poison. Her Giraffe lead is bulky though so that I have to acknowledge. Grusha was also solo’d by my Croc thanks to Torch Song boosting his SpA by two stages. Stopped at that point and did a major grind of Classes and Exams. While I’m not a fan of school, the XP candies were kind of a nice reward. I then stopped for the night since it was really late. Plan is to do final Titan and then last two Star Bosses in no particular order. Probably will do Clavell and Penny after that before doing League and final Nemona fight and save Arven last.

Campaign Update: I did final Titan with Beira and it went easily since I froze Dodonzo on the 2nd stage of its fight. Then when battling its puppetmaster I OHKO'd it because Freeze Dry does x4(Ice type is better than you think folks). Against Ortega, I forgot that Steel is resisted by Water so Azumarill caught me by surprise with Aqua Tail and nearly OHKO'd Excadrill. Swapped to Skuntank after finishing it off and proceeded to roll him with Poison Jab. I need to upgrade Excadrill's Steel move to Iron Head(found one while exploring for Stakes). Then against Eri I pretty much solo'd her with Beira since Fighting only does neutral Damage. Against Clavell, I rolled him rather easily since Skuntank rolled his lead, Fire Croc rolled Abomasnow Polteageist and Amoonguss, Golduck swept away Houndoom and Beira rolled his Water starter. Against Penny I opted to use Gallade against her opening Wall(I respect Umbreon quite a bit) before swapping to Excadrill to remove her Flareon and Jolteon. Beira removed Leafeon and Vaporeon before Skuntank finished off her Ace.
For the Elite 4, Rika was pretty much solo'd by Beira, although I swapped to Golduck for Camerupt. For Poppy, Fire Croc all 5 with Torch Song giving him a huge buff. Beira solo'd Larry because Ice is king and Beira solo'd Hassel because ICE IS KING. Then against Geeta, I opened with Skuntank against her lead before swapping to Fire Croc for Avalugg and Kingambit. Swapped back to Skuntank for Veluza and Gogoat and then utilized Excadrill to OHKO her Ace with Earthquake. Nemona wasn't that difficult either, although I do credit her AI for using Stealth Rock with Lycanroc. Should have led with Beira to prevent that but it's a Rock Type so maybe it was a good call. Anyways, rolled her team without much trouble. I chose to stop there since I haven't done Arven yet in lieu of doing Treasures of Ruin first. I have to look up Stake locations since I'd prefer to get them all in one-go rather than aimlessly traversing the map hoping I'll find them. Gallade learns False Swipe so I can have him remember it to ensure I get catches as easily as possible. I also leveled up Amoongus a bit to get Spore and to be of a high enough level that it hopefully doesn't get OHKO'd by them.
@Hades0918 02:00 UTC I'd like to do more Violet Trades if possible. Prioritizing Misdreavus, Gulpin, Clauncher, Dreepy, Ceruledge, Eiscue, Passimian, Violet Paradox minus Iron Thorns(only one I got last time), Miraidon and Trade Evo's(Scizor + Slowking which I have the item for both). If you want to do Kitakami and Blueberry Dex exclusives after that, I'm more than happy to do so, although I'm not sure if I'll have enough Pokémon to swap for them. As for Kitakami + Blueberry Trade Evo's, those will have to wait until I get the requisite Pokémon and their Trade item(if needed).

Campaign Update: Caught all 4 Treasures of Ruin today along with battling Arven to finish his story path. Am now in Area Zero but battery got low so will finish the final story path and catch my Scarlet Paradox Pokémon when I get the chance. I got Scream Tail but still have more to get along with the Box Legendary.
@Hades0918 Do what you can. I'll be on in roughly 1 hour.

No biggie as other replies haven’t been posted yet. Lmk when you can do it again.

Still hasn't posted my last comment but Area Zero took longer than I thought. Got all Paradox Pokémon on Scarlet so just leaves Violet exclusives. Trade tomorrow at 02:30 UTC?

Eh it’s alright. My other two comments haven’t appeared/been approved yet. I finished Area Zero and caught my Scarlet Paradox Pokémon but it took way longer than I thought it would because the credits took forever and Fluttering Mane was a pain to find as I spent a good 20 minutes looking for one but it simply didn’t want to spawn for me. I’m at 373/400 and all I have left are Violet exclusives: Gulpin/Swalot, Misdreavus/Mismagius, Passimian, Ceruledge, Eiscue, Clauncher/Clawitzer, Dreepy/Drakloak/Dragapult, Iron Treads, Iron Bundle, Iron Hands, Iron Jugulis, Iron Moth, Iron Valiant and Miraidon; along with two Trade Evolutions that are all set to go(Scyther with Metal Coat and Slowpoke with King’s Rock) and the other starters(Sprigatito and Quaxly). Get those done and I’m all done with the regional Dex and can get started on Kitakami DLC.
