But seriosly
Switch 2 moves from a ~6.2" 720p screen to a 7.9" display with 1080p resolution in handheld mode — games look sharper and more detailed when playing portable.
Refresh rate gets a big boost: up to 120 Hz on Switch 2 (vs. 60 Hz on the original), which means smoother motion — especially noticeable in fast-paced games (sh00ters, action, racing, etc.).
When docked to TV, Switch 2 can output up to 4K resolution (with HDR), compared to the Switch’s 1080p — that’s a big leap for big-screen/TV gaming.
HDR support adds richer colors and better contrast, making visuals more vibrant overall.
Switch 2 uses a much more powerful chip and system architecture: it has significantly upgraded GPU and CPU performance compared to the original Switch.
RAM and storage are greatly improved: Switch 2 comes with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage — a big jump from the Switch’s 4 GB (or similar) RAM and 32–64 GB storage.
That extra power helps with smoother performance, reduced loading times, and better handling of more demanding games — both old and new.
The redesigned controllers (Joy-Con 2) are slightly larger and reportedly more comfortable for longer play sessions.
New convenience features: Switch 2 includes a second USB-C port (on top of the unit) — useful for charging or accessories while gaming.
Better speakers and improved audio (3D-audio / spatial sound) on Switch 2 enhance immersion, especially in handheld mode.
The kickstand on Switch 2 is redesigned — sturdier and adjustable to more angles, making tabletop mode more stable than on the older model.
Games look much better and smoother, especially on the TV — 4K and HDR give a far more modern console feel than the original Switch.
For handheld gaming, the larger, sharper screen + higher refresh rate feels closer to a dedicated portable console or gaming handheld.
More storage and RAM means fewer loading delays, more room for games, and the ability to more comfortably enjoy graphically heavier titles.
Overall feel and quality — from controllers to built-in hardware — is more “premium,” which matters if you game often or care about comfort and visuals.

the only bad thing about game share is that there is a anoying black border around the screen when you use it.
