Ting Lu ex vs Radiant Greninja

I had Ting Lu in my active spot and the opponent loaded a Radiant Greninja with damage counter on it and he was able to hit 2 of my bench pokemons with 90 on each.

Is that normal ?

    Yes, is normal... Ting Lu only disables the abilities, the opponent non ex Pokémon, but they can still atack...
