Will there be the next regulation after regulation Z?

Since 2020, a regulation system has been applied from regulation D. The next regulation after regulation D was regulation E, and the next regulation after regulation E was regulation F, …

If the latest regulation is regulation Z, will there be the next regulation after regulation Z? I'm just curious, lol.

There is no official information explicitly confirming what happens after the "Z" regulation mark.

However, based on the established alphabetical sequence (D, E, F, G, H, I...) and the history of the Japanese TCG which began with "A", the system is widely expected to loop back to "A".

And also it will take almost 9 years to reach the "Z" regulation mark from the start of the "D" era, based on the current release rate of 3 new letters per year... so it's something they have time rethink.

Since 1 new regulation mark is introduced every year I imagine that's a problem for Pokemon Card Lab to solve in 15 years, they could switch to numbers or just double up the letters AA block, AB block etc.
