Rank Each Region's Starter Trio

1: I'll say Galar. While Rillaboom has a bad design, all the others are amazing and have a funny theme of growing up.
2: Hisui. Arceus, I had serious trouble choosing.
3: Kalos. Between nut-spike-head, flaming fox, and bubble frog, these guys are great.
4: Alola wins it. I don't like Incineroar or Dartrix but the rest are great.
5: I'll give it up to Johto. I love Typhlosion and Meganium, and Feraligatr is meh but still pretty cool.

I actually like Hisuian Typhlosion best. not the original version though. I thought it was a bit boring

the quaxly line just really brings it down for me and I’m pretty neutral feeling toward fuecoco

1. Kanto, call it first game bias but the original three are by far my favorite, with the Charmander line carrying the region (Charizard is my favorite Pokémon) another reason is probably because, unlike all the other regions, I personally really like the design for all three of them (with Venasaur in last between the three in my opinion) and if we include Yellow/Let’s Go, I really like Pikachu too.
2. Sinnoh, and this gets second simply/only because I love the Turtwig line, the others aren’t bad per say, but the Turtwig line definitely carries the Sinnoh region in my book
3. Galar, I liked the Scorbunny line well enough(fire, I have found, is my normally preferred starter), and the Sobble line was fun too, but I didn’t really like the Grookey line.
4. Hisui, this is the last region that I liked two of the three starters okay. The Oshawott line is probably my favorite of the three (though the Unova variant is superior in my opinion), and the Rowlet line was ok as well (again the Alola variant is the better if you ask me), but I really didn’t care for Hisui Cyndaquil, I didn’t like it’s second Ghost type of design.
5. Johto, the reason for this is mostly the Chikorita line, because I like Dinosaurs and the Chikorita line are longnecks (I named mine Littlefoot when playing Z-A)the Cyndaquil line is okay (better then Hisui anyway) but I don’t care much for the Totodile line (I think it looks kinda derby).
6. Luminos, the only reason that Luminos (or Z-A) is this high is because of the Chikorita line. The reason it’s not higher is that it is the only starter I like in this game.
7. Unova, it was a tie between Unova and Alola, but I decided that the Oshawott line carries it just a little past the Alola region. I don’t dislike the other Unova starters, but I don’t care for them either.
8. Alola, part of the reason that I like the Rowlet line is that sense they are archers they remind me of the main character from my favorite book series: The Rangers Apprentice, but also, the Litten line annoys me, which Smash Bros is probably to blame for…dang cat.
9. Kalos, kinda like the Froakie line, but not a lot. Same thing with the Chespin and Fennekin lines, there ok, but not great
10. Hoenn, I’m not attracted to any of the starters (but if I had to pick I’d go with the Torchic line).
11. Paldea, the regions starters just didn’t do it for me, I thought all of them were ugly, and I feel they have done better in the past. This is one, if not the only, game that I would not have my starter on my team through the whole game.

And just to be clear, this is all my opinion, and I mean no offense by anything I said.
