Smash Bros part 1

MARIO
Mario lifts his head, groaning. He glances around at the world around him. It’s like an endless field of grass, but everything is made of blocks. A palm tree sits there randomly, cubic but with round gold rings hanging from it. Mario loosens himself and mutters, “Where-a am I?”
He turns around to see a strange cubic man. Both react as one might expect.
“AGH!” Mario falls backward and points at the blockish man. “You’re-a-blocky!”
The blocky man jumps back, pointing with his whole fist. You’re ROUND! You’re the creepy one! He seems to say it without speaking at all.
Mario leaps back to his feet. “Are you-a calling me fat?”
The blocky man points his blocky fist again. No, you’re just round! And not made of pixels!
TAILS
“Ow…” Tails lifts his head up, but someone stops him. “Rest, little buddy. I don’t have a clue what you are, but I don’t like to leave someone in need.” Tails sets his head back down. The other chuckles. “It’s nice to have someone around, even if they’re a fox-thing… Sleep tight, little buddy.”
ELFILIN
“Kirby?” Elfilin floats about, looking for his two friends. “Bandana Dee? Kirby?” He glances about, then tries something else. 
“I have cake!” 
No response. Elfilin sighs. “Normally they’re here in an instant when I say that…” Suddenly there’s a rustling in the bush. He turns. 
“Who-o’s there?” Two brown ears pop out, then a fluffy fox tail. Elfilin squeaks, “Don’t eat me! Kirby! Help!”
NAVI
The little fairy flutters through a strange zone of mushrooms. “Link? Link! Hey! Where are you? Epona? …anybody?” She flutters down to a mushroom. “Why do you have… eyes? Are you alive?” 
“Nope!” 
Navi shrieks.
POKÉMON TRAINER
The Trainer lifts his head, snags his hat and puts it back on. “Squirtle? Ivysaur? Charizard? Greninja? Lucario? Incineroar?” 
He takes in the sight of a strange arena around him. It’s abandoned and covered in plungers. And, mysteriously, there is a toilet in the middle. “What…”
Suddenly there’s a loud noise. A creature steps out. The Pokémon Trainer pulls out a Pokédex. 
“What are you?”
THE KID
“Ow…” A red-headed kid glances around. “Where in the world am I?”
