Paxton and Taunie are waiting in the lobby of Hotel Z. They called the taxi about half an hour ago, so it should be here any minute. Paxton has been eyeing the white bag Taunie has the whole time. He finally decides to ask.

"What's in the bag, and I'm overjoyed to see you," Paxton says, curiosity taking over.

Taunie smiles. "You'll find out when we finish the night."

Paxton is about to push for more, but there is a "beep" outside. The cab has arrived! The two of them leave the hotel, and when they get to the car the man looks annoyed.

"To Restaurant Le Wow, please," Paxton says as they enter the car. The driver doesn't do anything. Instead, he just stares at the two of them.

"I've seen you two before, right," he asks. "The up and rising new couple?"

"Um, I guess," Paxton responds. He always forgets that he's well known. Tawnie begins to slouch.

"Good. I've been wanting a battle but everyone that's gotten in has had enough of me battling them. So we're gonna battle," the driver states.

"But we have money," Taunie exclaims. The guy scoffs and rolls his eyes.

"Don't care," he snaps back. "I want a battle. No chance to knock you out no drive."

"I guess we can battle," Paxton says, getting back out of the car. Tawnie slams the door when getting out. Driver chuckles as he throws a single pokeball and catches it.

"If you have to," Taunie says with a sigh, following the other two. "i can't believe I'm stuck with you two in a battle!"

Once a decent distance away from one another, they pull out a pokeball. "This is a one-vee-two," Driver shouts.

Paxton nods. "Not a problem!"

The two guys send out their Pokemon. Paxton is using Feraligatr and the man sends out a Beartic and a Staraptor and Tawnie sends out her Pyroar. The Feraligatr and Pyroar roar or growl powerfully, each trying to intimidate the other.

"Let's go, Slash and Double Edge!," the cabbie commands, throwing his fist out. Beartic starts dashing at Pyroar, claws extended. Pyroar let's our an even more powerful roar than before.
Staraptor climbs in the air and dives to land a full body hit.
Staraptor at the last second turns away from Feraligatr and the turns towards Feraligatr to land a Double Edge with it's wing. Something that says it's used this move many times before.
Pyroar hits Staraptor with a Fire Blast. And Beartic starts charging up a second Slash. Feraligatr catches the arm. And let's go a Breaking Swipe hitting and slowly whitling away at Beartic and Staraptor's attack stats. Staraptor is seen by the Driver to be hurt. So he brings it back to the PokeBall and yells,"Beartic quick Blizzard!" But it was too late as Pyroar clinched a close range Fire Fang. Driver retreated the fainted Beartic and the referee called the match.

The two Pokémon remaining are at a temporary stand still as they push against each other. After the close match, they both were wanting to go train a bit more. Their breathes hot and unified.

At Paxton's command the next ride will be of no charge.

The Driver stands still, staring at his Pokémon with disbelief. Then, he starts laughing. "Yeah, kid! That's what I needed! From now on I have your number."

Paxton smiles. "Yeah, you too!"

"Great! "Can we go now?"," Taunie exclaims, her annoyance evident.

"Of coarse," the driver says happily, going back to his car. "To Restaurant Le Wow!"

"Thank you," Taunie says with a sigh, getting into the vehicle, Paxton following. The car hums as it rolls over. They pull off and drive to the rest of their date.
