Don't open if you want to slowly meet Jay!
Jaylee (Jay)
Hacker, antisocial, kind of pretty, blue eyes, brown hair with a consistent cowlick that just wonât stay down. She canât talk well because she has a stammer and canât find words unless something her speed (video games, great books, coding) is mentioned, in which case she temporarily bursts out with words though still stammery. Great with computers, on her Rotom Phone which contains her own personal partner whom she calls Rotobud, an old nickname she gets embarrassed by. She loves to read when not coding or playing around with tech and blurts stuff from books sometimes. She plays more video games than most guys even do as well. She also has a Porygon2, Litten and Meltan- Porygon2 because it can mess with tech (obvi), Litten because he was her parentsâ and she inherited him, and Meltan melds wires and things for her. She doesnât realize at all how rare Meltan is, but because of how isolated she is no one even knows she has him. Her parents passed away, and she lives with her slightly overprotective aunt. Porygon2 is nicknamed Python (after the coding language), Litten is Fireball (sounded cooler when she was five), Meltan is Nuts. Her aunt calls her Jay because not only is it a shortening of Jaylee, but she read Hunger Games at eight and Jay is also a shortening of mockingjay- Also causing her screen name to be MockingJay479 (and 479 is Rotomâs Pokédex number.)

I figured out Zayn's team!
He will start with Absol
Next chapter he will also have a Shynx, Starly, and Bidoof, all of which he caught after leaving home
He's going to meet a girl on vacation from Kalos who really wants a Bidoof but doesn't have time to go out and get one. Zayn shows her his and they trade. He receives a Fennekin.
I'm still figuring out the next two's location in the story, but he will find a defiant Chimchar that won't obey him until in a future chapter (where it is a Monferno) when they have a tough loss and Zayn gives it some words and advice and comforts it. After this it realizes that Zayn cares for it and begins to listen to him.
The last Pokémon will be an abandoned Gibble.
The last two will help Zayn with some issues with himself. The Gibble gets released because it hasn't won a battle with its trainer even though it was the strongest in its group. Zayn tells the old trainer that just because it was the strongest back where it came from doesn't mean it's the strongest everywhere. That just means that it could use training and it has the potential to be the strongest. This is the same as how he felt coming out of his small town and realizing that compared to almost everyone he's weak. But upon saying it he realizes that he, too, can become stronger, giving him motivation to become better.
The Chimchar believes it is better than everyone, and its loss to Absol was just bad luck. And so it doesn't listen to Zayn, thinking it doesn't actually need to respect him and that it's fine on its own. In battles after that, it continues to win even though it doesn't listen, eventually evolving. But as I said, it then takes a loss. But it is a hard loss, getting absolutely destroyed. It knows this wasn't a fluke and begins to lose belief in itself. This is the same as how Zayn felt when the ranked official beat him. He thought it was a mistake and that he was still the best. But then after leaving his town he takes nothing but losses. Trying to cheer up Monferno, he tells it that losing doesn't make it bad or weak. It just shows that there is potential to grow. There will always be stronger things out there, and that's okay. It just needs to train and become the best it can be. It's only a loss when it gives up. This is something Zayn didn't realize he needed to hear, and it gives both him Monferno the drive to become the best they can.
In the end his team will be Absol, Luxray, Staraptor, Delphox, Garchomp, and Infernape. I intend to use the way move sets were early in the TV series, where a Pokémon's four attacks were the ones that got called out in the battle it is in.
