Top of my head, I would have to say ANY fire type really. When it comes to basic needs/survival. I like the above comment of Meowth as well.

i like charizard the most. but for day to day life then ditto. but i still would wanna own a charizard

GeoDude could be pretty useful for the mining industry, as well as just in general lifting heavy things!

Probably Alakazam with its super intelligence and telekinesis it could handle complex tasks help with research and even move objects with its mind.
