For me I started steam stage (which I don’t understand why people hated it when it had dual types and shinies)

Around mid 2019, I started collecting during the Sun and Moon era (my favorite era).

Started playing competitively around Chilling Reign (first deck was Ice Rider, yay!) but I've been loosely collecting since BW. I don't remember the exact set.
