Gardevoir is strong, and it’s one of my favorite Pokémon, so that’s what I’m choosing.

It heavily depends on how you prefer to play. Both are snipers in some classification.

Gardivoir is a “mid-range” marksman who likes to stay behind their teammates and railgun their enemies with Psyshock AOE. If they choose Future Sight, they become a massive lategame threat through the use of constant, high-damage explosions at the cost of reducing potential vision and AOE and becoming skillshot dependent.

Venu is either a close-range glass cannon or a mid-range sniper depending on build. Petal dance turns Venu into a shredder reliant on regenerating HP from Giga Drain, while Solar beam makes him a multi-hit sniper that can deal big bursts of damage along with slowing enemies if they get too close.
