How do I unlink google from PGO app Android

I cannot remove the Google Linked account. It keeps telling me it must be linked somewhere else? Where?

And the PTC option has disappeared

I do not want Google linked to it

I must have clicked on something to allow it. But I don't want it

Nothing I do lets it go. I have deleted from Google all Permissions but that made no difference. There is NO where to remove it.

    I have unlinked in Google Account settings itself. All settings.

    I am already linked in game via PTC as was done on the original sign up

    Help tells me to unlink account on device. I don't have it on my device - device is not connected to google

    It tells me I am linked to some other Niantic account. No. I deleted and removed them all. There was a Wayfarer account. but that was removed from Google Account settings

    Just running in circles :-) Not unlike me :-)
