How much time has passed between BW2 and The Indigo Disk

I was thinking about this and I kind of thought about it for a bit.

What I first thought was between 11 and 12 years since that's how much time has passed in the real world, yet the new characters seem to be much older than that despite never appearing or even being mentioned in BW or BW2.

If I had to guess, 16 years is probably the max amount of time that could've passed between these games, but I doubt it. Probably around 13-15 imo.

What are your guesses?

IDK much about games Pre-Alola (asides from the Pokemon and some characters), so I think that it came out 7 years ago. I think I remember hearing about it during a Sun & Moon gameplay.

I think it's been about 10 years or 14 years if you take into account Drayton's age (Drayden's grandson) and also the fact that Unova has advanced technologically

From what I know, BW2 released around July-August 2012 and The Indigo Disk released on December 2023 so the gap in real-life time is 11-11.5 years depending on when BW2 released

I would guess 12-15 years had passed in Unovan time?

One thing I forgot to mention is that the characters are implied to be in high school (since Carmine mentioned Kieran being a teenager in the Teal Mask), so most students are probably around 13-18.
