Thoughts on the Indigo Disk? (spoilers)
What are your overall thoughts on the second part of the DLC now that it's out?
I personally enjoyed it- battling the Elite Four was hard but really fun and being able to experience more double battles was great. Kieran's arc resolution was also pretty good (I'm starting to think he has something of an inferiority complex going on).
Now, my gripes:
- The way you unlock starters in the game is super annoying and tedious. I'm glad I transferred all the starters I wanted to have from HOME.
- NO BATTLE FACILITY! I thought for sure they would include one but I was wrong.

I have never played the Indigo Disk, but I think the characters quite fun and enjoyable.
My biggest gripe is the continued existence of the Dexit/Dexclusion phenomenon. I know it may be a necessary evil (unless the game can handle the addition of maybe a few more Pokemon), but this issue seems to be targeting some Pokemon more than others. (Patrat, Pansage, Pansear, Panpour and Furfrou, I'm looking at you!) The first four of those evolutionary lines will be guaranteed a Switch debut in the Gen V revisits (provided they arrive on the Switch), but that leaves Furfrou in a precarious position.

My only gripes are the BP grind (which is basically because of the starter unlocks) and requiring Union Circle for the legendaries
Being all double battles is nice

It was awesome, I loved it. The characters were cool, the story was kinda wholesome, and it's fun to play. Sometimes, a few of my Pokémon would faint even though they're all Lv.100 and competitively trained, so it's nice for people who want a challenge.
But.. why does Kieran just disappear right after he apologises? And Carmine, too, for some reason? They were my favourites, let me talk to them, GameFreak.

I like returning to Area Zero but BY GOD did we have to resolve the plot YET AGAIN around these two dipsticks? They weren't interesting in Teal Mask and they're not interesting now. And the game keeps insisting I'm their friend despite me having absolutely no reason to consider either of them even remotely close. Carmine is an abuser and a bully and Kieran is an entitled brat, and I want no part of their toxicity.
Also I don't believe for a MOMENT that Briar has a teaching degree. I wouldn't trust her to organize a bake sale, much less an expedition into the most dangerous place in the world. And Geeta approving it is incredibly suspicious, especially given that they casually drop that Geeta has been to Zero Lab before and was able to describe it well enough that Briar recognized it on sight.
In fact I've got so much to say about a very specific part that I'm gonna make a new post.
