Toedscruel PAR bug

During a recent match my opponent was able to get two item cards from their discard pile using Pokestop even though I had Toedscruel in play. The Pokestop was theirs.

I'm sorry, my mind can't comprehend how you thought Pokestop got cards from the discard pile. It gets them from the deck. Literally how?

First, this is not a joke. You can read the description of the pokestop. When the player uses it, he puts 3 cards into discard. Only items can be recycled to his/her hand. Toedscruel's ability can now block the effect of pokestop. However, I personally think that the programmer was too lazy and did not give the effect according to the literal meaning of the card, so it seems that Toedscruel's ability did not take effect.

I believe the OP has the correct understanding. As seen in the recently streamed official Japanese “Elite Four” tournament, Pokestop should be disabled by toedscruel.

Btw, I’ve contacted Pokémon support and they are investigating it atm.
