Battle VIP Pass Bug

When using Battle VIP Pass on my first turn going first, I was unable to select one of my Pokemon. All of the basic Pokemon in my deck were shown in the selection screen, but clicking on the leftmost one (Comfey) did not move it to the selected area, so I was unable to select them. I was able to select any of the other Pokemon.

Other details:

I went first that game. My only Pokemon was an active Sableye. The Battle VIP Pass was the first card I played that game. This does not always or even usually happen when using the Battle VIP Pass - I was unable to consistently reproduce by playing the Battle VIP Pass as my first card in another game, however I do see older bug reports mentioning the same issue.
